During JAS16, ZEEL’s ad revenues represented 57% of the total revenue for the quarter, down from 60% in the same quarter last year. Subscription revenue represented 34% of the total revenue for the quarter, down from 35% in the same quarter, last year. The other sales and services segment represented 9% of the total revenue for the quarter, up from 5% in the same quarter last year. PAT for the quarter was Rs2.44bn up 28.3% from Rs1.90bn in the same quarter last year.

ZEEL is proactively reorganising its operations focusing on newer delivery formats and ramping up its digital business in line with the changing dynamics of the operating environment. It is making investments in new growth verticals with an aim that they will start contributing to company’s success in the future.
